Intercom and VDP System

A video door-phone (VDP), also referred to as video door entry or video intercom, serves as an independent intercom system designed for overseeing incoming calls at the entrance of various locations such as residential complexes, detached family homes, workplaces, and more. Access is regulated through audiovisual communication connecting the interior and exterior. The primary functionality of a video door entry system lies in empowering occupants to visually identify the visitor and, at their discretion, initiate a conversation and/or grant access by remotely unlocking the door for the individual at the entrance.

The outdoor unit typically includes a camera, microphone, and a door release button. The camera captures a video of the person at the door, and the microphone allows for two-way audio communication. The door release button can be used to remotely unlock the door for the person at the door.

The indoor unit typically includes a monitor and a speaker. The monitor displays the video captured by the outdoor unit’s camera, and the speaker allows for two-way audio communication. The indoor unit also includes buttons for answering the door, adjusting the volume, and adjusting the camera’s angle.

Some of the features of the Video Door Phone include:

High-Definition Camera: Captures sharp and detailed images of individuals at the door.

Two-way Audio Functionality: Facilitates crystal-clear communication between individuals outside the door and those inside the building.

Remote Door Unlocking: Enables the door to be unlocked remotely for the person at the door.

Night Vision Capability: Ensures the camera captures clear images in low-light conditions.

Multi-Unit Compatibility: Supports multiple indoor units, enabling communication across various rooms or floors.
